Miss Joanna offers Suzuki style private violin, viola, and cello lessons at her home studio in South Garland (off Saturn and Northwest Hwy), at Faith Lutheran School, Plano, and at Our Redeemer Lutheran School, Dallas. Students who attend school at Faith and Our Redeemer have the option of having their lesson during the school day, as well as after school.

In Suzuki lessons, students learn to play using the 'mother-tongue' approach - learning first to play by ear, and learning to read after good technique and tone have been firmly established.

Lessons are by appointment only. Students ages 4-6 (PK4-K) are required to have an adult present with them at lessons, in order to be able to help the student practice effectively at home. Students in 1st through 3rd grade are strongly recommended to have an adult with them for the same reason. Grades 4 and up are welcome to have an adult present, but it is not required.

2025-2026 Academic Year Registration - OPEN - Note: new students cannot start during the months of November and December due to the number of scheduling disruptions (holidays, etc). Students who register during November/December must wait until January to begin lessons.
